Applying Retouching Paints to Losses

Several days were devoted to the reintegration of the outer edges, as these areas had with sustained the most damage due to previous restoration campaigns and possibly poor storage/handling conditions. Extremely small brushes are used to carefully mix and apply the reversible, stable conservation paints to areas of loss and abrasion.
